To put the present-day market challenges in perspective, Klein goes on to mention an instance wherein Uber decided to end its partnership with Twilio as the transportation network firm was spending close to $36 million a year for delivering voice messaging service and SMSes between its passengers and drivers. The per-minute pricing model of the communications company running on a traditional cellular network charged the Uber app per mobile device and per minute from the device into the cloud and then from the cloud to the endpoint, leading to a surge in expenses. The company offers two kinds of CPaaS solutions—WeCloud and YouCloud. WeCloud is a multi-tenant solution, hosting separate customer services on Cloudonix’s cloud infrastructure. Each client has a unique ID, under which they may have one or more web domains for use. With WeCloud, clients can reduce costs by transitioning to direct dialing on their mobile applications from the traditional multi-level IVR systems. On the other hand, YouCloud navigates clients through compliance or technical requirements to stay in partial control of their communications service. Cloudonix also helps the clients implement third-party cloud systems while simultaneously managing their system remotely.

Cloudonix enables organizations to use their own business models, rather than imposing one on them. The company’s amalgamation of solutions allows users the liberty to configure their email or call systems. “We focus on optimizing our clients’ communication email and guide them in the process of integrating our SDK in their mobile applications,” says Klein.
